Palak Paneer

Ingredients For Palak Paneer:

  • Paneer (cheese) 10 cubes of about 2 inches.
  • You may either use mozarella cheese in this case 10 to 12 sandwiches or a cup of mozarella cheese.
  • If you are using cheedar cheese then grate it and its quantity should be about 2 cups.

For Gravy:

  • 2 Onion  finely chopped.
  • 2 cups Spinach Puree.
  • 3 tea spoon Ginger and Garlic Paste.
  • 1 table spoon coriander  Powder.
  • 1 table spoon Cumin Powder.
  • 1 tea spoon garam masala Powder.
  • 1 table spoon Green Chilli chopped.
  • 3 table spoon Lemon Juice.
  • 2 tomatoes.

Spinach Puree:

  •  Cook 500 gms of spinach in water.
  •  Drain the water and then make puree of the spinach leaves.
Palak Paneer

For Garnish:

  • Grated Cheese (any cheese of your choice but cheedar will work great).
  • You can also use Cream.

Procedure For Palak Paneer:

  • Cook onions, tomatoes,  ginger, garlic, green chillies and dry powders in cup water for 10 minutes. When cool grind to a smooth paste.
  • Fry the onion paste in 2 tblsp oil for 3 minutes.
  • Add the spinach puree and mix well.
  • Add the paneer cubes and cook for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice.
  • Adjust seasonings as desired. Garnish with cream and grated cheese.
  • Now your Palak Paneer is cooked and ready to be served hot !
